Jakarta, Indonesia, ABIM (14/1/2021) – President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Wednesday (13/1) has received the first COVID-19 jab as the Government commences a free national vaccination program.

Prior to the shot, President Jokowi must go through several steps, among others, registration and data verification, simple medical examination such as blood pressure test and body temperature check, as well as health screening questions including medical history and current condition.

“I don’t feel it at all,” the President said after receiving the vaccine given only to those passing the health screening.

Afterwards, the President waited for 30 minutes to anticipate Post Immunization Follow-up Events (KIPI). Those receiving the vaccine, including the President, then received vaccination card and booklet on COVID-19 prevention. (ABIM)
