Minister Of PUPR Basuki: By the end of February 2023, Sections 4 and 5 of the Cisumdawu Toll Road will be functional status

Sumedang, West Java, ABIM (12/2/2023) – Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono accompanied by Directorate General of Bina Marga Hedy Rahadian inspected the process of completing the construction of Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Cisumdawu) toll road West Java (10/2).

Basuki keeps urging the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) of PT Citra Karya Jabar Tol (CKJT) to speed up the completion of the Cisumdawu Toll Road’s construction, particularly in Sections 4 Cimalaka – Legok and Sections 5A and 5B Legok – Ujung Jaya (8.2 km/km) (14.9 km).

Basuki gives instructions in Sections 5A and 5B to focus on organization and time management. “I hope the time management is set up to get things done sooner. The erratic stones have also been tidied up. Smooth finalization is necessary for it to serve as a good example “Minister Basuki added.
Additionally, Basuki asked the implementing contractors to work together to accelerate the development’s completion. “Please also collaborate so that when one is finished, the other can be completed as quickly as possible. So, everyone is pleased together, “Minister Basuki said.

Section 1 Cileunyi-Pamulian (11.45 km) has been functioning since January 2022, according to Bina Marga Director General Hedy Rahadian. Section 2 Pamulihan-Sumedang (4.8 km) and Section 3 Sumedang-Cimalaka (4.05 km) have also been functioning while enabling smooth vehicle traffic during Nataru 2022/2023.

“We hope that after the Cisumdawu Toll Road is connected, it will play an important role as a supporting connectivity for economic growth, improve people’s welfare, and open up many new business prospects in the West Java region, particularly connectivity from Bandung to Kertajati,” Hedy said.

he Cisumdawu Toll Road is consisting of six sections that were built under the Government and Business Entity Cooperation (PPP) scheme at a cost of IDR 5.5 trillion.

Minister Basuki was accompanied by Director General of Bina Marga of the Ministry of PUPR Hedy Rahadian, Toll Road Director Budi Harimawan, BPJT Secretary Yongki Triono, Head of DKI Jakarta-West Java National Road Implementation Center Wilan Oktavian, Head of Pantja Public Communications Bureau Dharma Oetojo, and Main Director PT CKJT Jusuf Hamka.(ABIM)
