Jakarta, ABIM (9/9/2023)- Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono welcomed the leaders of the countries participating in the ASEAN Summit arrived at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Thursday (7/9).

Prime Ministers from ASEAN nations began to arrive, starting with Pham Minh Chinh of Vietnam and Xanana Gusmao of Timor Leste.

Then Prime Minister of Laos Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong, Head of Delegation of The Kingdom of Thailand Sarun Charoensuwan.

Next, the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Hassanal Bolkiah who was accompanied by Prince Abdul Mateen, and the Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim.

The 43rd ASEAN Summit was held at the JCC on September 5-7, 2023. The summit, was chaired by Indonesia, with the theme of “ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth,” which means that Indonesia wants ASEAN to be relevant and important, as well as the center of economic growth.(ABIM)
