Bojonegoro, East Java, ABIM (20/10/2023) – Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono together with Minister of State Secretary Pratikno continued their working visit to East Java by reviewing the arrangement of the Dolokgede sports area in Bojonegoro Regency, Thursday (19/10/2023). The arrangement was carried out by the Ministry of PUPR through the Directorate General of Human Settlements in the sports arena (GOR) area belonging to Dolokgede Village which has been renovated this year.

Minister Basuki advised the public to efficiently utilize and maintain all constructed infrastructure and facilities in order to ensure the long-term viability of community sports activities.

As per the terms of the contract, the Dolokgede sports area arrangement work commenced on May 31 and is expected to be finalized by December 31, 2023. This area’s configuration makes use of 1.96 hectares of land, of which the APBN has allocated IDR 18.5 billion. At the moment, the construction process has advanced by 47.54%.

A management office, parking area, volleyball court, jogging track, gate, football field and stands, ticket room, children’s and adult swimming pools, washing room, and food court are all components of the construction scope. The parking area, which was previously dimly lit, is now aesthetically pleasing due to the well-organized lighting arrangements.

Diana Kusumastuti, Director General of Human Settlements, recommended that the East Java Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center (BPPW), which is accountable for the project, increase the number of plants and prioritize aesthetic considerations.

Adriyanto, the Acting Regent of Bojonegoro, praised the PUPR Ministry for constructing the infrastructure and sports facilities necessary to support the DolokGede GOR and enable its use in the advancement of sports in Bojonegoro.
