Jakarta, ABIM (13/11/2023) – “More plants to enhance their lushness. Additionally, pedestrian pavement (paving) and artistic ornaments (statues) were reduced. Due to the conditions of the hot climate, it is preferable to grow lush plants,” Minister Basuki said During his inspection of the Djuanda Fly Over (FO), formerly referred to as FO Aloha, in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java.
The primary objective of constructing the FO is to alleviate the heavy traffic congestion that arises from the intersection of Bangah and Aloha and to improve the flow of vehicles at the railroad crossing along the Juanda International Airport Access Road.
On the contract date of November 1, 2022, FO Djuanda commenced construction, which was to be completed within 540 calendar days. FO Djuanda is comprised of two structures in terms of construction: the 435-meter-long FOA from Sidoarjo to the Juanda Airport Access Road and the 423-meter-long FOB from Juanda Airport Access to Surabaya. Ramps that connect Sidoarjo and Surabaya are accessible from each FO.
According to Rakhman Taufik, the head of the East Java-Bali National Road Implementation Center (BBPJN), FO Djuanda was constructed using funds from the 2022-2024 APBN Multiyear Contract (MYC) total IDR 332.8 billion. PT Wijaya Karya (Persero)-PT Nindya Karya (Persero) is the contractor.
Flyover A will be constructed with a Sidoarjo-Juanda frontage beginning at STA 0+000-0+978, and Flyover B will be constructed with a Juanda-Sidoarjo frontage beginning at STA 0+000-0+889. Drainage work (3.66%), earth and geotechnical work (2.32%), concrete pavement (4.98%), structural work (77.5%), and bridge road accessories (8.32%) are all included in the work scope.
In addition, Expert Staff to the Minister for Technology, Industry, and the Environment Endra S. Atmawidjaja, Director General of Human Settlements Diana Kusumastuti, Head of BBWS Brantas Hendra Ahyadi, Head of BBPJN East Java Bali Rakhman Taufik, and Head of BPPW East Java Muhammad Reva were in attendance to accompany Minister Basuki.(ABIM)
