The PUPR Ministry Builds the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Flat in Jakarta

Jakarta, ABIM (27/5/2023) – The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) continues to improve the provision of adequate housing through the Flats (Rusun) development program. One of them is the construction of the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Flat in Jakarta which is being carried out by the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Housing in the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year.

Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono said, apart from being intended for Low-Income Communities (MBR), the Ministry of PUPR also built flats for students, students at Islamic boarding schools, as well as for the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI)/the Indonesian National Police (Polri) and Civil Servants (ASN).

“This is clear evidence that the Government is playing their role in providing adequate housing. We hope to improve the quality of life for beneficiaries by having more decent, healthy and comfortable homes,” said Minister Basuki.

The Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Flat was built on Jalan Dwikora Raya, Makassar District, East Jakarta with 1 tower, 3 floors with a total of 44 residential units. Flats are built 3 floors with a type of 36 m2 for each unit. This flat began construction on December 22, 2022 as in contract and is targeted for completion in September 2023. The construction work is being carried out by the contractor of PT Insan Pesona with a contract value of IDR 21.3 billion.

Currently, the installation of column reinforcement, installation of column formwork, casting of Zone 2 columns, installation of pile cap and tie beam formwork, installation of pile cap and tie beam reinforcement, installation of scaffolding, installation of formwork beams and floor plates 2 (Zone 1), and ironing beams and slab Floor 2 (Zone 1). Overall construction progress has reached 15.4%.
Director General of Housing, Iwan Suprijanto, said that the construction of this flat aims to meet the needs of decent housing for the Indonesian Air Force, Halim Perdanakusuma. “We hope that living in a decent house can increase the productivity of the Indonesian Air Force Halim Perdanakusuma at work,” said Iwan Suprijanto.(ABIM)
