Jakarta, ABIM (6/11/2023) – “It is very encouraging for all of us to learn that over 29,000 attendees from over 400 construction service associations attended Construction Indonesia 2023. “This demonstrates Indonesians’ enthusiasm for construction, and I am confident that construction services will continue to advance and develop in the coming years,” said PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono 2023 Indonesian Construction Awards at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Central Jakarta on Friday (11/3). The Award was held by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Construction Development Furthermore, it signifies the conclusion of the Indonesian Construction 2023 events that were organised from November 1-3, 2023.
The 2023 Indonesian Construction Awards Night was organized as an appreciation to the community of construction services providers for their invaluable contributions to the national construction services sector. The awards are distributed to five categories. In the Construction Services Delivery Development Category, three building information modeling (BIM) implementation categories were granted to three construction service providers and three regional government organizations (OPDs) at the provincial and regency levels, respectively.
The awards are presented to five categories. Among these is the Development Category, which acknowledges construction service providers and three district-level OPDs for their work in the Building Information Modeling (BIM) Implementation Category and the provision of construction services to three provincial-level Regional Government Organizations (OPDs).
“Congratulation to the awardees, with particular recognition given to the provincial and district administrations. In stead of monetary rewards, I intend to present incentives in the form of training and programs. Regional governments must continue to develop construction services so that they become the primary driver of economic growth in Indonesia.” Minister Basuki stated.
The Construction Indonesia 2023 series of events has been conducted from May 2023 until the event’s peak on November 1-3, 2023. National calls for papers and conferences, construction exhibitions and awards, construction competitions, the 2023 Indonesian Construction Awards Night, the ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineers (ACPE) Forum, and a book review of Construction Indonesia 2023 comprise the main agenda.
Additionally, representatives of the Japanese Embassy, Heads of Ministries/Institutions/Regional Governments, Middle and Primary High Leadership Officials in Ministries/Institutions/Regional Governments, Middle and Primary High Leadership Officials in the Ministry of PUPR, Chair of the Construction Services Development Institute (LPJK) along with LPJK Management, Heads of Business Entity Associations, Professional Associations, and Supply Chain Associations and Construction Services Business Entities, Heads of Business Entity Certification Institutions (LSBU) and Professional Certification Institutions (LSP), as well as other construction services communities were present.(ABIM)
