Lampung, ABIM (30/10/2023) – The Directorate General of Highways, under the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), is charged with ensuring that the Regional Road Presidential Instruction (IJD) is being actively implemented in Indonesia.
According to Minister Basuki, the accelerated increase in regional road connectivity is in line with Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 3 of 2023.
“Therefore, damaged regional roads will subsequently be repaired with assistance from the center via IJD.” “President Jokowi directs the determination of which sections will be administered by the APBN, with roads connecting industrial and production areas to outlets and markets in particular,” Minister Basuki explained.
Hedy Rahadian, Director General of Highways, stated that the entire funding given for processing IJD on a national scale is around IDR 14.7 trillion. And progress is at around 30%. “This allocation covers all provinces in Indonesia, with the exception of DKI Jakarta and Central Kalimantan. “The total handled is 3,140 provincial and district roads, and the bridge is 2,700 meters long,” Hedy stated.
Lampung Province, which has 99 provincial roads covering 1,693 km and a constant condition of 76.85%, is one of the regional roads managed by the PUPR Ministry through IJD. In addition, 6,591 district roads with a total length of 17,774 km are in 50% stable condition. Meanwhile, there are 65 road sections covering 1,298 km with a stability of 94.51% on national roads.
“In Lampung Province, there are 17 activity sections totaling Rp. 800.2 billion for approximately 104 kilometers of road handled.” “Overall progress is estimated to be around 60%.”And it is expected to be completed in December,” said Susan Novelia, Head of the Lampung Road Implementation Agency (BPJN).
The IJD will manage a segment of the 11.02-kilometer Korpri-Purwotani intersection in South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province, during FY 2023. President Jokowi conducted a sectional review of this particular road section in May 2023. Physical advancement is documented to be faster than that of other road segments.
Furthermore, the PUPR Ministry through BPJN Lampung is also handling regional roads on the Negeri Baru – Simpang 3 section, the Pagar Dewa – Lumbok section, the Pekon Bangun Negara – Cukuh Senuman section, the South Pardasuka – East Tanjung Rusia – Selapan section, the Keramat Teluk section – Sri Widodo – Daya Sakti Section – Makarti.
Then, the Adijaya Tulung Randu Section and the Simpang Daya Murni – Gunung Batin Section, the Sp. Segitiga Emas – Muara Tenang, Muara Tenang Section – Margo Jadi, Bogotama Section – Pasar Batang, Sp. Randu – Seputih Surabaya work package I and II, Kota Gajah Section – Sp. Randu Work package I and II, as well as the Labuhan Maringgai – Margasari Section.(ABIM)
