Wushu Wins Third Gold at Hangzhou Asian Games, Basuki Hadimuljono Applauds Team’s Dedication and Unity

Hangzhou, China, ABIM (28/9/2023) – The Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Basuki Hadimuljono, in his duties as the Chef de Mission (CdM) of the 2023 Asian Games, expressed his appreciation for Harris Horatius’ achievement of winning the third gold medal in the sport of Wushu at the 2023 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China.

Harris competed in the Nanquan number one event at the XSG Sports Center and earned a score of 9,756. He finished ahead of the South Korean athlete Lee Yongmun (9,736) and the Hong Kong athlete Chi Lung Lau (9,730).

Moreover, Harris, who ranked third in the world in the Men’s Nangun event in 2019, won the 2023 Asian Games Nangun competition with the highest score of 9,750, securing Indonesia’s third gold medal overall.

With three golds, one silver, and five bronze medals, Indonesia is now in sixth place in the 2023 Asian Games medal standings. Before this, shooting athlete Muhammad Sejahtera Dwi Putra had already won two gold medals in the 10 m running target men individual and 10 m running target mixed run men individual competitions.
