Hangzhou, China, ABIM (27/9/2023) – As Chef de Mission (CdM) of the 2023 Asian Games Contingent, Basuki Hadimuljono expressed his appreciation for Muhammad Sejahtera Dwi Putra’s gold medal in the shooting sport.
The shooting athletes who participated and won gold medals, according to Minister Basuki, had improved both the reputation of the country and their alma mater.
At the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China in 2023, Indonesia won their second gold medal. Muhammad Sejahtera Dwi Putra, a shooting athlete who competed in the 10 m running target mixed run men individual on Tuesday (9/26), once more presented this gold.
Muhammad Sejahtera, an athlete, previously made history by becoming the first Indonesian athlete to win gold at the 2023 Asian Games. On Monday, September 25, he triumphed in the men’s solo 10 m running target event.
Meanwhile, Indonesia has earned a total of 8 medals for the 2023 Asian Games, including 2 gold, 1 silver, and 5 bronze, moving it up to seventh place overall.
Athletes should keep working hard to achieve their best results for the country and state, Minister Basuki said. Minister Basuki aspires for the Indonesian Team to go above and above the predetermined goal in terms of medals won. During the competition, “I hope that the athletes will be full of enthusiasm to give the best for Indonesia,” Minister Basuki stated.
Minister Basuki was accompanied by Deputy Chef de Mission Jadi Rajahukguk, Deputy II of the 2023 Asian Games Contingent Thomas Setiabudi Aden, Deputy III of the 2023 Asian Games Contingent Dadang Rukmana and Rafiq Hakim Radinal, and President Commissioner of PT Brantas Abipraya Haryadi Anwari Arpan.(ABIM)
